“The GingerLead came on Saturday just as you thought. It's perfect and has worked out amazing. We were using a robe belt or a towel and the GingerLead is SO MUCH BETTER. I had to take Onyx back to the vet hospital for her Fentanyl patch removal and took in the extra brochure you sent me and of course Onyx with the GingerLead. They loved it too. They took front and back copies of your brochure and made a file for it. She said they are telling all their clients in need of having a sling for their pet about GingerLead. I've been telling people about your great GingerLead too.Thank you so much.”KarenDescanso, CA
“Thank you for recently delivering the GingerLead to me in advance of my dog's knee surgery. Having a 110 pound Great Pyrenees and living on the second floor had me concerned about my ability to take care of him properly after surgery. Having the sling in advance allowed him to get used to it. I brought him home from surgery today and it worked out perfectly! I was able to support and navigate him down and back up the stairs this afternoon by myself, even though he was groggy and uncoordinated from his pain meds. This is a totally awesome solution. I hope you will drop off some of your brochures at the VRCC hospital. Adam's surgeon, Dr. Devitt, was quite impressed when I showed it to him.” LisaDenver, CO
“Topi is a 17 year old Dachshund with a history of luxations of both her right knee and hip sequentially. Her current diagnosis is idiopathic hind weakness and she is given a variety of prescriptions/supplements and acupuncture for discomfort.About 8 months ago Topi's owner contacted me after she was unable to stand on her own to ask about my thoughts on dog wheelchairs. I told her that if she was going to go that route that it was important to make sure the cart would be custom fit for Topi. (At that time Topi although elderly was still active and engaged). My client/friend decided to try one of the inexpensive carts that would be fit to Topi's basic measurements which was still pretty pricey.I begged her to instead try one of the GingerLeads that I had in stock for my comfort care business. The harness when used appropriately allowed Topi the freedom to wander the yard a bit and do her business on her own without tipping over. Topi only needed a bit of assistance and only for a couple of weeks. Within a few weeks whatever had caused Topi to go down had resolved and she was back to walking and doing potty on her own.Now Topi is again weakened by age and a progressive immune disorder. She is still engaging and can wobble on her own but on some days GingerLead lends a hand. Topi is not long for this world but I believe that the harness vs a cart gave her the independence and kept her legs strong for this past year of quality life.”Veronica McCullion CVTNaples, Florida
“I am a Registered Vet Tech who recently purchased one of your harnesses for our own dogs and we love it! We have a 13 year old Golden with spinal stenosis/hind end weakness; a 10 year old Golden who had an FHO on one leg and the other is hanging on by a thread; and an 8 year old three legged Wheaton mix, who's only back leg gives out from time to time now. We have definitely put this harness to good use! I recommend your harness at least once a week. I truly believe you have an excellent product-also because I have a bad back and your harness is much easier on it.” Karen Wake Forest, NC
“The unique design of GingerLead allows the human handler to give substantial support to the hindquarters of the dog while maintaining control of the front end, all with one hand. We deal with giant breed dogs, and have found that the GingerLead offers much greater support and control than any combination of slings, towels and leashes. It is especially valuable for young, exuberant dogs who might cause injury to a freshly operated joint without adequate control. Great product!” Rand Winton, D.V.M.Chief Medical OfficerBig Dogs Huge Paws, Inc.
“Midnight is LOVING his new Gingerlead Dog Sling. What missing leg?! It is so easy to walk him with, y'all! It even has a cutout for potty breaks!” Rehab DepartmentMedVet New OrleansEmergency and Specialty Veterinary Hospital

“What a great product! I have used GingerLead since the first prototypes were available and it has been a tremendous benefit to my post-operative surgical patients and their owners. It is simple to place, adjustable, and very ergonomic for the handler, eliminating the awkwardness of traditional “towel walking” techniques or simple slings. I recommend GingerLead to the owners of all of my postop orthopedic patients and for dogs that are debilitated or unstable as the result of old age, severe arthritis, or neurological disease.” W. “…As a post operative sling, which is what the GingerLead was designed for, it is fantastic. It definitely gets the CARE two thumbs up. We’re going to give it a 95, 97 out of 100. That’s a pretty great score, so if you’re looking for a sling for your dog that has had knee surgery or back surgery, this is a great option. The quality is outstanding, it does exactly what it needs to do, it helps you help your dog get up and get around…”Dr. Kristin Kirkby ShawDVM, PhD, CCRT, DACVS, DACVSMRCARE Canine Arthrtis Resources and Education
